I like how in an email about the #BulbEnergy acquisition, #OctopusEnergy founder Greg Jackson refers to the #BigFive energy companies as "legacy suppliers" (in the context of their pursuit of a #JudicialReview).

I had a business account with #Bulb #BulbEnergy that closed a couple of years ago. Today I received 3 emails from them, each containing a credit note for several hundred pounds. They appear to be genuinely from Bulb. There is no other information in the email so I don't know if this is money I can actually access or if they are just tidying up the paperwork on their accounts before the #OctopusEnergy takeover.

As we know: UK taxpayers bailed out failed energy company Bulb Energy.
We also now know the bail out cost every house almost £230. The OBR reveals the total cost of Bulb Energy bailout reached £6.5 billion despite serving only 1.7 million customers...
...would have been cheaper to nationalise. #BulbEnergy
