Bumping into Broadway is Harold Lloyd’s last performance filmed before the infamous accident at a photographer’s studio that August that cost him his right thumb and forefinger. Lloyd had barely recovered enough from the explosion to attend Bumping into Broadway's November premiere.

BTW on the Kevin Bacon thing, Harold Lloyd worked on such-n-such with Sid Davis, who worked as John Wayne’s stunt double in the late 40s (true story), who did the voice of Garindan ezz Zavor in Star Wars, which featured voice work from James Earl Jones, who did the voice 5-Toe in the animated 90s Earth Day Special The Magic 7, which also featured Kevin Bacon.

Strangely enough, the Orson Welles of Social Guidance Films, Sid David is directly connected to Harold Lloyd in that whole Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon set-up. Sid Davis worked as a child actor in a Harold Lloyd comedy in 1920 (sadly, the SF Gate article I learned this from didn’t say which one. Gonna do some research on this.)
