Tired of giving a shit.
Tired of looking out for my fellow man.
Tired of working like a dog.
Tired of being tired.
Just done.

Wish I could just look away.
Walk away & not look back.
Leave & not feel guilty.
Just want a break.
Just want to be free.
Just want to have a normal life.

We get no help.
We cry out for help.
But get slapped down.
We keep crying & push back.
But loose it all.
The good person always pays twice.

Burning out, so close to the edge.
I guess we truly are alone.
