Totally depends on which.

I'd pretend not to see Ezekiel or Michael, for different reasons.
I might offer Lilith a cup of tea and try to get her to talk because it'll be interesting for sure.
I'd lecture Tobias about good communication skills.
And I'd ask Asmodeus his pov, because I never have before...

All while hoping none of them strikes out at me, though.

All characters have their own set of beliefs and think themselves the hero. Ezekiel, for instance, tries to keep the old order, Tobias wants fame for Flo, Lilith wants to protect the children, Asmodeus his power and tribe... old grudges and hatred harbored over millenia leads to them unable to see anything but their own agenda.

Flo: I would repeat what people called me at the squat, but unfortunately, I was so high or drunk the entire time, I don't really remember.

Daniel: I think when I was told Zach's a half-demon. It was worse because I knew she wouldn't lie. But she wasn't right either.

#WordWeavers Sept 05: How detailed are you when you describe your characters’ clothes / looks?

Not at all. I don't like lengthy descriptions, neither as reader nor as writer. I may give some details such as Miriam's green eyes or Flo's blond hair, or that Daniel's handsome. I gave Miriam a leather jacket cause she's kinda badass. It's part of Flo to hide behind loose, light clothes, so you get that too.
And when they meet someone else, I tend to describe through their eyes.

Miriam often forgets to eat, especially when she's meditating. In one case, she doesn't even drink or sleep, which leads to an interesting outcome.

Flo used to be the same when he was actively trying to forget everything. But he also wanted to cease existing, so that doesn't quite count.

Daniel sometimes forgets what he's dealing with. And then he's stunned that his normal, human rules don't apply.

Keeping in mind that there's a lot of different factions - yes, everyone has a chance to become a better person. But some are so old and have kept their grudges and hatred for so long that they don't want to let go. They refuse to see the other side.
The alternatives that remain are very limited.

That's one for Daniel!

His entire life until he meets Miriam has been perfect in a way. And then it all changes...
Being with the hunters makes him feel very much like the new kid, the outsider, the one without any powers. He hates being the damsel in distress (and is quite vocal about it, too). He hates not knowing. He so wants to be the hero of the story!
