I wasn't the biggest fan of everything after the time skip so far and I still hope the story will end soon, but the flashback exploring Seikos past is doing a lot for the character. The vibe of the manga was always eerie, even without real horror, but this puts a lot into perspective and explains Seikos character and decisions.
