Mr Parry previously spoke to BBC Radio Cornwall on 2 January from the Bakhmut area in eastern Ukraine.
Explaining his motivation for being there, he said he wanted to help children in particular.

Near #Soledar, two volunteers from #Britain were killed: an enemy shell flew into a car when they evacuated a woman.

#ChrisParry, 28, and #AndrewBegshaw, 47, went missing on January 7. Later it became known that #Russian ammunition killed the men when they tried to evacuate an elderly local resident.

An artillery shell hit the volunteers' car directly.
