Due to the fix in the colorspace package (see https://twitter.com/AchimZeileis/status/1655474813492756480 ), I re-evaluated the properties of the color palettes from the rcartocolor package.

Now, I can announce that the Geyser palette was promoted to the "colorblind friendly palettes" category.
