This morning from the Oakland hills. 105 mm nikon lens, 20 images stacked, 0.7 second exposure f/2.8, ISO 6400. I could *barely* make it out naked eye. Darker skies I'm sure it would have been no problem #comet #comet2022E3

Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF)

📸 taken yesterday night in the light polluted sky over Rome. This is a combination of about 160 images of 15s each. Images were aligned using the comet as reference. During the astrophoto session the comet moved with respect to the sky, so the stars in the background appear as trails.
