That's why it requires a majority to elect one.
So if #Republicans can't agree among themselves, then the only alternative is for a #compromise candidate and #concessions made with and to the #Democratic caucus.
There are conditions agreeable to a majority of the House, regardless of #party. How long will it take for the least crazy #HouseRepublicans to get there?
