At #Michigan House Cmte hearing, #ConsumersEnergy & #DTEEnergy spoke the need for the state to invest in its power grid

If I let my house fall into disrepair, I dont say the state needs to fix it. You claim the transmission lines are your property, keep raising rates, cut jobs/services, & give $M profit checks to shareholders & execs! But refuse to make upgrades to the #infrastructure. Then 700K have #poweroutage for days. Then say the state needs to fix YOUR #infrastructure?

DTE and Consumers Energy are making record profits, charging record rates, all while allowing what is rightfully the peoples' infrastructure fall to ruin.
