Confess I am a shit cook. I cannot follow a recipe and have no concept how to pair spice, herbs and other for flavour. Everyone tells me that this a learned skill to not give up. Yesterday, I create a sour chicken stew and today I created a vegan splodge. Honestly, if someone could create a matrix (cheat sheet) with herb, spice + other I would be forever grateful #cooking #cookingdisasters
Thought I’d treat my wife to beef bourguignon tonight. The recipe was for 8 people, when scaled down for 2 people the fluid levels should be checked more frequently. Frozen ready meal on standby.
