On one hand #JeremyHunt puts £77mn behind an enhanced #creativeindustries strategy (well, perhaps 'strategy' is going a bit far; a creative industries policy, then);

#Tory #education ministers keep telling #universities that only #STEM subjects are worth investing in, and those pesky #arts subjects should be left rot wither on the vine...

Where the f**k do they think many of these creatives come from?

As #JeremyHunt claims to want to see an expansion in the UK's #creativeindustries & is offering some backing to create 'creative clusters', it might be an idea for him or his team to have a word with the folk who hold the #education portfolios, as the #Tories have been degrading & underfunding arts (and arts-related) education for over a decade.

Its no use declaring you want to see an expansion in the creative industries while failing to support the education & training of the talent!
