Daycare and transportation in the US is an utter joke. I'm basically being forced to get another car (one car family now) because the only daycare we can get in is far from home and there's no suitable public transit.

So much for trying to be a contribution member of society.

It was lashing down in torrents when I opened the garage this morning, so I waited a little before setting out to allow the rain to abate. Ended up having an enjoyable #cycletowork despite getting a little damp halfway round. I did the full ten miles rather than cut it short.

Having the right kit really helps, as does having a shower & somewhere to dry wet clothes at work. Knowing I won't have to squeeze into wet kit at the end of the day is great.
