In a few weeks' time, I'll be leading the 'When archives become digital' strand at the Digital Humanities @Oxford Summer School 2023.

Having led the strand for the last four years, it's a wonderful opportunity to meet colleagues working in or on archives all over the world and using digital methods to do so, to share knowledge, and to learn about the processes and forces at work as we move towards an increasingly digitalised archive.

Just over a decade ago, I attended the summer school myself, right at the beginning of my journey into digital humanities; it was a formative experience to meet so many other burgeoning digital scholars in an environment in which ideas and thoughts flowed freely.
