I got Diddy Kong Racing in 1997. I LOVED that game and played so, so many hours if it, but I sucked at video games as a kid and never beat it.

Today, in 2023, I can say that I finally beat Diddy Kong Racing. This is the proudest moment if my life (okay, not even close, but it's still pretty cool). Please clap.

I basically 100%ed it, except for unlocking T.T. (Which I'm still working on--some of those time trials are hard) and playing through Adventure Two because that seems tedious as hell rn. Maybe eventually I'll do the second one, but probably not. lol

I love remakes/remasters. They dont take resources away from new games, create jobs, & fill holes in release schedules created by triple A development.

Hub worlds > open worlds. Open worlds are often a marketing tactic that ends in games with too much copy & paste.
