I don't buy much stock in for our shop as we make most of it ourselves, but this morning I've purchased all my #Christmas2023 range.

It's always fun when it gets delivered in October and I rediscover what I thought was interesting! This time it will include dinosaurs in festive hats!

Relevant of course as the #IsleofWight is also known as #DinosaurIsland.

I'm planning to teach my wife tonight. We own both #Scythe and #DinosaurIsland, so interested in seeing how this compares to teach.

After one play, I think this flows better than Dinosaur Island. Think it has to do with just having the one main decision to make each turn on what Action Card to use. In DI, the decisions each phase could be a little daunting for first timers.

Definitely think this one will be something you can teach while you play, like Scythe.

Played Dinosaur Island: Rawr n’ Write tonight, and tbh, I think we like it more than the original - in part because it’s so easy and fast to set up. Mistakes were made related to hiring a mad scientist, but that’s life in the dinosaur park biz. #BoardGames #TabletopGames #DinosaurIsland
