My naps are getting worse and worse due to the heat which is really detiriorating my health. I feel horrible.
There is no existance without a constant fan blowing to my face and drying my eyeballs, and a rag clinging to my hair that is getting brittle fron the constant wet-dry-wet-dry treatment. I smell of damp and misery.

AC's should be a human right at this point.
Every rent aparment should have one.

One of the biggest sads for me in this #DisabledLife is not being able to see my people as much and as spontaneous as I'd like to. I haven't seen my casual date since April this year. I can only see my non-nesting partner every few weeks or months due to the burden of crossing the distance being on them. I barely see my parents or most of my friends. I miss my people. I miss their easy and loving company. I wish I had more spoons.

Four long Zoom meetings today, and I'm laying in bed tonight with terrible back pain.

Thanks to some good luck and loving friends, I have a Dolce Gusto coffee machine arriving today! (Its the cute little Piccolo model).

I have an old Tassimo, but the pods are so expensive. DG compatible pods are less than half the price of Tassimo pods. (You can only get official Tassimo pods, there aren't any compatible pods, whereas you can find supermarket own brand Dolce Gusto compatible pods)

All of this means I can afford to have tasty coffee again, and all without having to go up and down the stairs every time!

Seriously if you struggle with stairs, and you can afford it, I absolutely recommend getting a little coffee machine for the bedroom. It's a total game changer.

I am starting a new hashtag #thanksfedi well it has 1 post from six months ago. So yeah newish. Anyway with all the new people around I wanna invite oldtimers to share what this community has meant to them over the years

I'll start the Fedi made me realize that my disability was not my vocation, that I could have a life apart from the pain and the daily fights with bureaucracy. That i actually got to have a sense of self, dignity, personal autonomy . In short that there was more to life than the struggle for my daily bread. or to put it in hashtag terms
