Calling donkey/horse owners used to administering Red Cell (pellets) or other type of solid medication.

I bought this mail order product and now succeeded in getting my fussy anaemic donkey Aitana to eat it (by mixing 15g Red Cell pellets with 150g chicken feed, and putting it into her familiar green toy bucket!)

*QUESTION*
When is the best time to administer it for max effect? Does *after* normal morning forage feed make sense?
