Am Ende wird das wirklich gut gedachte und über weite Strecken gut funktionierende Regiekonzept nicht durchgehalten bzw. geht nicht auf. Schade eigentlich, da wäre mehr drin gewesen.
Aber insgesamt ein schöner Theater/Opernabend.

Ich liebe die Opern von Verdi, und sie sind ein Fest für die Sänger:innen...
Aber mit dem Falstaff betritt er einen völlig neuen musikalischen Raum.
So gut wie kein "Hit", aber die Musik schillert und funkelt voll Witz und Einfallsreichtum. Das geht nicht so glatt ins Ohr, aber es entfaltet sich das geniale Können des Meisters.

It had been a while since I reviewed the notes, and I had moved one of my short stories into the story. Long story short, 9 viewpoint characters seemed a bit much. I moved the short story to book 4, another storyline that only connected slightly to the main narrative gets to be it's own short story, and another character had his viewpoint shifted to other characters in the same scenes. That leaves me with six, and a better feel for the story as a whole.

It's time for my first Mastodon writing update. With the first Red Ice novel back on Submission after rewrites, I started working on Book 3 of Rise of the Automated Empire. This turned out to be a good move. As of Monday, the first book is again on submission, and I was told by the publisher that if he picks up the book, he'll want the three others done so that he can publish them in rapid succession.

Meine persönliche Bewertung:

Das traditionelle alte Gasthaus - ich hatte es das erste Mal vor gut 20 Jahren besucht - wurde sehr stilvoll und mit Fingerspitzengefühl erweitert. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente.

Leider konnte das Essen und auch die Bedienung dieses Niveau nicht ganz halten.
