Any #ZeroFareTransit is better than none, but if Saunders's five-hour ZFT window is implemented then it'll probably mean the end of more meaningful (and useful) #FareFreeTransit campaigns.

I took the bus to go to #KWVegfest today. Had the most expensive Mac'n'Cheese ever. (But it was good! Mmm, #Sambal!) Then took the #LRT to Willow River Park, stopped at #FullCircleFoods to stock up on cashews, turmeric, rosemary, ginger.

I wouldn't have made any of these purchases without #ZeroFareTransit - I'd have stayed home, had KD, and done without nuts & spices.

So the loss of a $3.50 fare gained some $75 in local commerce. #FareFreeTransit is good for the economy!

Now that (police #Surveillance of license plates) gives a whole new use case for #PublicTransit.

#ZeroFareTransit, of course. None of these surveillance-enabled farecards. Makes me wonder if the surveillance capability of farecards is one of the points of resistance to #FareFreeTransit...
