I’m a huge fan (and as such have pinned my colours to the mast accordingly in my #introduction and my #FavouriteComposers list) so I find it really interesting to hear why others don’t like #Wagner, or think they don’t ‘get’ #Wagner etc. He seems to elicit stronger emotions than most #composers from most people; you either really like him or really, REALLY don’t!

Interested to hear what others think, and to hear why you don’t - or do - enjoy his output.

classical music has been an everlasting side-love since my early twenties. have a decent collection, would not call myself an expert in the genre though. above average :-)
this year has been dominated by collecting firebird versions, preferably old ones on #vinyl
