It was Isabell’s inspiration for the lace design that really attracted me to knit this pullover. It had nostalgia with memories of gathering acorns in the woods being represented with the yoke motif. Based on a pattern from @BadassCrossStitch, these were the first & second embroidery projects I’d attempted since grade school. The tiny version came first, and I was honestly surprised and delighted when I actually finished the second larger one.

I'm hoping to share something for #FiberartsFriday but right now I am detangling an Entire Skein of yarn please give me strength

I know I established #FiberartsFriday on here, but I want a day of the week that begins with a C so I can have a specific crochet day. Maybe I can cheat with "Chus-day"????

Is there something between #WIPWednesday and #fiberartsfriday? Because that's where we are. It is still Thursday. I think.

Anyway, I finally was able to get some readers and pick my butterfly back up.

Not pictured, but I also worked on my large crochet blanket project while I was doing video training today.

I wore it out of the house!

And I have no idea why Mastodon flipped the pic on its side...

There are definitely some modifications I want to make to the pattern if I try it again. The cowl neck just doesn't sit as pretty as it does on the model and I think I just have to admit that I'm never going to get that look with these boobs.

The yarn is super soft and it was very comfortable to wear (if just a little warm since my region hasn't figured out that it should be fall yet).

But the color palette, Easter-confetti, is definitely not my thing. I was trying to branch out... and that's a no.

Is anyone interested in a hand-made cowl-neck sweater in a cacophony of spring colors? I will gladly send it to someone who would appreciate it. (Roughly women's US size large, machine wash and tumble dry low.)

Currently working on a waffle stitch scarf. In a color that makes it look a bit like an actual waffle. Now I want a waffle.

When it's done, it will join the stack of other scarves waiting for their ends to be woven in and then blocked.

Oh yay, it appears that #FiberArtsFriday became a thing while I was gone.

I don’t have a photo because the thing I’m knitting today is a secret (anyway, it’s just garter stitch in an unusual shape), but I’m pleased to be able to say that the number of stitches I cast on this afternoon was a prime number.
