while the color isn't too exciting(it's just black & silver) it is Solid AF! if you have 40 bucks burning a hole in your pocket & you want to try a fountain pen out, this is worth it. WELL worth it!

Picked up my fountain pen day order from bookbinders Australia. The #iroshizuku ami-iro cartridge went straight into my vp. The con-40 really isn't enough ink 💙
The tombow 0.38mm point is tiny and smooth!

About to return overdue library books, attempt the final of an Adventure Lab Bonus Cache, cramming reads, then some decluttering. Maybe even a letter!

This morning I worked on my next nonfiction book at a café. I wrote four or five pages, which I’ll transcribe later (in Scrivener).

I’ve worked in cafés for years: partly as a brief break from parenting, partly because they offer what Sartre called ‘a milieu of indifference’.

I am just a beginner collector but here is what I have… My Benu and my brass Travelers are my workhorses. Love them!

My very first fountain pen was the pink limited edition fall 2014 Kakuno that I bought when visiting Bungubox in Hamamatsu, Japan. (I also love their inks and use them for my TSWBIs especially). Lamy are what I often use for cartooning.

They’re saying it’s #fountainpenday and I have just recently dug some of my #fountainpens out of hiding. Leftmost is the Waterman that used to be my go to, it’s proving hard to keep primed these days, and its end cap broke off at some point.

Middle pens are of unremembered provenance - perhaps my father in law’s? A German Diplomat and an English Parker. The big blue boy is a Levenger, a gift from my wife that writes quite beautifully, and recovered from a decade’s lack of use quite well.
