1. Music: All week I've been on an indie folk/freak folk/psychedelic folk kick: Today's been all about working/driving while listening to the Fleet Foxes but tonight is going to be all about the Incredible String Band 💜
2. My periodic restock of artisan/hand-made beeswax/soy wax candles. I ordered from three different local candlemakers this time and they all arrived today. Cannot describe how excited I am.
3. I like this weather. As Anne Shirley would say, "there's so much scope for the imagination!"

Here a (borderline too) distressed lo-fi hip hop aesthetic is the glue that somehow manages to bind the raw hypnotic quality of proto-blues field songs with medieval folk & ancient nordic legend - inspired by ancient Danish burial mounds; to mesmerising, esoteric, plunderphonic effect. Still their best album, almost sacred, definately magical. The most magical album I've ever heard, with Avey's and Panda's greatest songwriting moments.
I really like later #AnimalCollective stuff, especially their fabulous late 00's albums BUT this will always be my favorite record from these guys.
