A #SXSW "AI in newsrooms" panel revealed a use case I hadn't thought of: Using deepfake technology to put new faces on video interview subjects to guarantee their anonymity (with this use disclosed to viewers) instead of relying on the usual tropes of pixelating faces or leaving the subject in the dark. #futurejournalism
