Geeks/DIYers - have a need to run a stand of fiber (SC/APC term) through an interior wall (moving FTTH stack to another room). I’d like to avoid just doing pass-through brush plates (old house/plaster) and I’ve got minimal fiber run experience, but plenty of lowV/copper.

Is the best approach a .5m patch inside the wall with surface mount/low profile jack on either side? Bonus points for suggested hardware. This is what I’d do for copper, and way more comfy doing that, but would rather have the stack all in one place. #fiber #geekdiy #oldhouses
