Kid countdown/build progress vs my countdown/knit progress.

Kid has one countdown I put together (the sock + stuffed toys) and a kiwico one. I highly recommend supplementing the latter with foam stickers both for decorating and for addressing structural instability.

Today's craftemporiumpdx Rainbow of Emotions word was "belonging" and I think the colour name was Anne of Green Gables inspired? I remember visiting PEI and that was my first exposure to the global Anne fandom so belonging feels like a good word there. ❤️

My #GnomeMKAL11 piece is so dark this is hardly spoilery!

And my bysarahs - inspired sock is still a teensy toe. But it's happening every time I run out of stuff in my other projects 🧦 (though it might take a backseat while I replace my fingerless mitts with something a bit longer?)

I also wound up my Winter Skies yarns (pnw_knitdesign / westcoastyarnco ) but had a moment of indecision about swatching (regular swatch or cup cozy? Or not bother since I was close enough last time at this yarn weight?) so no progress there yet!

This is the holiday knit a long from Imagined Landscapes, who is famous for her gnomes. I'm doing mine in bigger yarn than the pattern calls for because I'm using up older stash.
