Got my first two gallons of beer wort, water, and yeast in the fermenting keg! If you are going to try this, please note that you have to WAIT 10 to 14 days before you actually have beer to drink. Should be a warning label for impatient people.

Ever since Lift Bridge Brewing in Stillwater, #Minnesota changed the recipe for their Farm Girl #beer from a #saison to a #goldenale, I have been looking for a replacement. I’m looking for a light saison, with a relatively low ABV. As I understand it, historically, saisons were low ABV beers meant for quenching the thirst of field hands. Many commercially available saisons are malt heavy, high ABV beers that do nothing to quench thirst. Suggestions?
