@shawngoldwater What Xi doesn't understand or refuses to acknowledge, is that Canadians expect the PM to confirm that important issues (such as China's meddling in Canadian elections) are raised in meetings with foreign leaders. Naturally, this is not the way an autocrat wants to do business.
