Now, an entire show has been made around it called #YoungLove. It has a cast including Kid Cudi and Issa Rae.

Here's the animated short "Hair Love," directed by Matthew Cherry, about the trouble a father has doing his daughter's hair.

In 2020, it won the Academy Award for best animated short! (The same award given to characters like Tom and Jerry, Sylvester and Tweety, and Bugs Bunny, back in animation's theatrical "Golden Age".)

Last night’s #mullet !! This was a great #curly mullet find. It’s hard to tell in the pic but the curls are tight and lustrous, with just enough length on the party side to cover the neck and tickle the shirt. The hunt was tricky, being indoors, close quarters, & dim lighting.
