With #Totensonntag (Sunday of #commemoration of the dead), the days of mourning and remembrance end in November. It is the last Sunday of the church year before a new cycle begins with #Advent season in preparation for Christmas. The #Totensonntag is the #evangelical counterpart to the #Catholic holiday #Hallowmas or All Saints' Day. In addition to remembering the deceased, many Protestant services also encourage a more conscious approach to the time of life.
