Ridván is a #Bahai festival that commemorates the Declaration of #Bahaullah's mission as the Manifestation of God for this age. The first, ninth and twelfth days of this festival are given particular significance and are observed accordingly. The ninth day of Ridván is upon us, so feel free to spread the greetings!

The Festival of Ridván, known as the "King of Festivals", commemorates the twelve days spent by Bahá'u'lláh in the Garden of Ridván (Paradise) in 1863, during which He first announced His claim to be "He Whom God shall make manifest"—the messianic figure promised by past religions. 160 years later, this occasion is marked by over 8 million Baha'is worldwide, along with their families, friends and neighbours.
