Slow progress, but very happy with these first unarmoured Normans I did. They were fun to paint and helped me figure out how to make a bunch of colours not look like a circus!
Also worth noting that I'm too cheap to buy transfers, so the shields are hand painted.
Had my first go with my home made static grass applicator on these too. Really made the grass look deep and lush I think!

Calling this Victrix System XI foot artillery piece done!
I *think* i got the flaps right for regular foot artillery, rather than fringed epaulettes for guard or master gunners, but there you go :)

Forgot to get a picture, but had my first go at Sharp Practice over at the amazing Leeds Wargaming Club tonight. Forgot to take any pictures, but had a good time! Before anyone did anything one of my opponent's men decided to go and try to seduce any ladies in a nearby barn.
My voltigeurs got shot A LOT and I managed to fire a 32 man volley into my opponent's lines twice in one turn.

So this is a bit disappointing. I managed to launch a few of my 6mm Baccus War of the Roses figures across the room while removing them from the runners. Annoying, but my own dumb fault!
I ordered some Heroics & Ros 6mm to fill in the ranks a bit, but it turns out they're quite a bit smaller than the Baccus ones so probably not usable :/
