Despite the more towards classicism leaning narrative mixed with romantic features, the storry is full of #ghosts and #apparitions, that haunt the noble woman and later the tyranical milanese prince. In my research Castello di Binasco is the first italian novella I could find that had features of #uncanny/ #horror literature in it. (3/4)

Castello di Binasco. A tragic #lovestory of an #italian noble woman who promised her dead husband to remary a tyranical milanese prince and she does so in spite of being in love with a french #knight. Eventhough the later tries to save her, they both end up #dead. Killed by the milanese prince who wanted the princedom and the lands all to his own. (2/4)
