Curious to see how the #HouseSpeakerVote turns out. I wanted prog Dems to do this when Pelosi was being voted in last time in order to force a vote on Medicare-for-all, green new deal, and such.

If the “far” right gets concessions from McCarthy or a new speaker all together then it’s a good indicator that progressives should use the same leverage in the future. If Dems end up voting for McCarthy to keep the machine running then prog Dems probably made the right choice last time around.
