* Knee replacements (21%)

Weirdly we don't suddenly see Republican legislators trying to ban knee replacements

Oh, and a bonus statistic: Regret rate of #hysterectomies is also incredibly low, in the 2-4% range (https://doi.org/10.1177/2374373519840076), with a lot of that in populations that have the more invasive form of the surgery (with complications being a strong causal factor in whether they regret the choice).

You know, a fraction of a fraction what it is for knee surgeries.

But we gatekeep the hell out of hysterectomies (https://www.teenvogue.com/story/who-decides-who-gets-a-hysterectomy) with questions like "what will your future husband think."
