I live on Duwamish land, part of the Coast Salish villages, “Chief Seattle’s” peoples land, they spoke “Lushootseed” which there are no longer any first language speakers.

I have read word for word 3 treaties of local tribes in the last 2 years and it should be more widely known how the government failed each of those tribes, and still does.
