Friends, it's perfectly normal to favour your little finger and say "ouucchh" like E.T. when that finger is the source of the ouch right?
Got damaged by a defender early in the first quarter of the three games I played last night.
Also I can't straighten it. Buddy taping will be happening lol

Don't mind being on the losing end of a 54-52 scoreline when the whole game was basically an epic shoot-out and I got 50 of those 52 :)

Second time in two weeks at #IndoorNetball that a less experienced player has asked if I play basketball. Apart from playing pickup lunchtime halfcourt basketball when I was a first year in the 90's, the answer is no. That is where I learned to shoot though, so maybe that's what they're picking up on.

New PB at #IndoorNetball tonight, finally definitely hit 50+ worth of 2 point shots in a game thanks to some great feeds from my team.

Wasn't thinking about it at the time but on reflection It seems fitting to acknowledge and dedicate it to a long time fellow wellington indoor player and occasional team-mate who we lost this week. See you on a court sometime Tim.

Ambition yesterday was to take the day off and start the long weekend early, play as many games of lunchtime league #IndoorNetball as possible (4 in the end), and shoot as many 2-point shots as possible, all of which were achieved.

*lunchtime league has 3 quarter games, with double points per basket in the third

Celebrated my first game without the buddy tape on the left forefinger by cutting it open with the other one when my sweaty hand slipped off the ball when catching a fast pass tonight.
Still not as bad as the time I cut my own forehead open in similar circumstances once.

I play #IndoorNetball socially and occasionally competitively*, and this week I replaced my shoes. Since I had a pic of them when they were brand new I thought I'd take the same pic three years and a few hundred games later. Same location, but with new turf.

*since the mid 90's, so am now comfortably in the "gets underestimated by noobs veteran" category :)
