I finally setup my roomba today, and I am looking for tips on how to deal the privacy issues. I am not one to put devices on the network and letting them run wild forever unchecked so I created a wireless network specifically for it so that I can just turn off that WiFi AP now that setup is complete. I have owned many Robot Vacuums over the years. At least three #iRobotRoomba and then I started experimenting with the many found on Amazon. I have had a #Robit and #Goovi most recently which appear to be using all the same parts since the remote and extra brushes are all interchangeable. My early experience with iRobot was not good. Most stopped working properly after a year. The two generic from Amazon I have had for multiple years. Has Roomba improved to cost so much still?
