If anyone else misses the exploratory feel of the #game Castlevania:SotN, I highly recommend UNEPIC (on Steam and probably other places, it's been out forever). It's not hypersmooth to move around in (like GUACAMELEE), but it has lots of different branching areas and weapons and leveling that doesn't feel grindy to me.
I loved UNEPIC back when I demoed it years ago, but didn't like the adult language or sex-content (really unnecessary, given the dungeon crawl, but then again, English wasn't the developers' native language), which made it a DON'T BUY for me...well, it currently has an option to strip that out of the game and now it's a MUST PLAY from me!
