It's so degrading having to debate different antisemitism definitions with the non-Jewish world. No matter what definition is proferred in any particular setting it will be detourned and/or used as a foil for antisemitism itself.

The counterpoint to the IHRA is the #JerusalemDeclaration. The reasoning being that IHRA critics believe that definition stifles critique of Israel so the solution is to propose a decinition that is partially about defining bigotry against Palestinians.

@lioracle @histodons without getting into the critique or defense of #IHRA I'm generally struck by the counter proposal of the #Jerusalemdeclaration.

It doesn't seem strange that a definition of #antisemitism has a number of sections not about #Jews at all?
