At one point in the paper they put 'educated' in inverted commas, stating how the #education systems are failing against mythical #economicNarratives like 'growth can continue forever if it's in #serviceIndustries', or '#technology can save us'.
They're right, #perpetualGrowth itself is delusional, and its great to see them specifically target the 3.5% number #Keynesianism clings to. It doesn't delve into the #moneyPump specifically, which is unfortunate.

People in uselessJobs are a bigger drain on #society than the #unemployed, who often add to the #informalEconomy or #volunteer for a fraction of the income of the person undertaking the uselessJob.
The person performing the uselessJob is often paid very well to enable them to travel vast dististances and engage in activities to help them manage the pain of knowing they don't have a real job.

That's a #doubling of either #consumption or #financialisation (read the latter as #monetisation).
And #monetization is someone (today, disproportionately #BigTech) gaining economic #rents from something.
Imagine if we had a complete crash and people simply focused on maintaining, preserving and helping.
This world terrifies #oligarchy.
They use #keynesianism and #inflation to drain us.

Its good that you do that. We run various tests ourselves. A lot of kids have no idea what is going on. That's okay because some are only teenagers or early twenties, but some of them can vote so you have to try to instill some sense of responsibility.
#Keynesianism as a response to #priceStickiness in #classicalLiberalism was a mistake. Breaking up the #monopolies that aggregate immense wealth into few hands would've been better, a bit of that happened, iirc, but maybe more.

All these ill-effects of #Keynesianism just because of some so-called "#stickiness" of the #wages?
This #wageStickiness would only happen in a large corporation where you don't see the indiidual sacrifice and effort of the #businessOwner.
#SmallBusiness and medium-sized businesses would not have the stickiness problem mentioned, and simply justifies the notion of "#TooBigToExist".

In its day nobody was environmental so would not hold that agenst the theory, the updated system, that people like George Monbiot talks about would be #brightgreen which is as you say capitalism warmed up so better but no solution. The videos cover the 20th century from the view of this fight inside the power politics crew.

The 2nd episode of this is really over the top with #KeynesianEconomics, which abuses the environment like nothing we had seen before, and helped fund the rise of #Germany in the 1930's.
