It should not take nearly two years for Latinas to make what their non-Hispanic white male counterparts make in one year.

Today we led a nationwide social media campaign to advocate for an end to the #WageGap as we observed #LatinaEqualPayDay.

Data shows that FT and PT #Latina workers make only 54 cents for every $1 earned by a white male..

There are many factors that contribute to the #PayGap and we know a lot of folks on this instance may be in positions of power to change their workplace environment to be more #equitable

#Latina women make up one of the most powerful groups in the country, but when it comes to the #PayGap, they suffer greatly? Both FT and PT Latina workers earn only *54 cents* for every $1 earned by the average white male.

Regardless of the type of job, the place of employment, or the level of education, the data is clear– there is a #WageGap impacting women workers at every level.

It’s #LatinaEqualPayDay. In 2021, Latinas working full-time and part-time jobs earned just 54 cents for every dollar the average white non-Hispanic man earned. So when we say we have to work twice as hard, we mean it literally.

Latinas make just 57 cents, on average, for every $1 made by white, non-Hispanic men. Over the course of a 40 year career, Latinas stand to lose more than $1 million. For Latinas who are undocumented, non-binary, transgender, Afrolatina, or Indigenous, the pay gap is even worse. #LatinaEqualPayDay #Trabajadoras
