Have there been some standards for naming key topic areas on Mastodon, does anyone know?

For example, for state legislation, besides #[State] or #[StateNews]

I was thinking something like #LegislationVirginia or #VirginiaLegislation

The reason I'm asking is that an appalling anti-trans bill has been introduced in the #VirginiaSenate and that got me wondering what common hashtags there might be to follow for general information about what states are up to.

@ErinInTheMorn One suggestion is to hashtag the state name for these posts, so that people searching generally for #VirginiaLegislation or #LegislationVirginia #Virginia or #VirginiaNews will be alerted about what is happening. As a Virginian and as a human, I'm just appalled.

FYI, I use the browser version for Mastodon, and can edit a post to add in hashtags - which I often forget to do as it's still a new habit for me here. :)
