I was always kind of on the fence about the LEGO Friends line. For the last decade I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I always thought LEGO was for both boys and girls, already, so I wasn't sure why LEGO Friends was necessary.

Still, it's grown on me over time. Now with the introduction of a much wider and much more diverse cast of characters and, having watched some of the web videos on LEGO's YT Channel, I decided I'd buy one of the new sets.

So this is Nova's room. She's a gamer and streamer and clearly likes purple. I like purple too. That's her friend Zac, with the laptop, and her dog, Pickle.

I think it might have to buy some more sets...

While shopping over the wkend we spotted the new #LegoFriends sets that have characters that have visible and invisible disabilities. I always get excited when I see disability included within mainstream toys - so it brought a smile to my face!

I also have met the interviewee, Rebecca Atkinson founder of #ToyLikeMe...she does a lot of good work locally in #Norfolk and nationally on subject.
