In my last years of teenage Lypis Trubetskoy became the very important piece of my identity: revolution, anti-capitalism, anarchy, anti-imperialism, independence.

So I was very upset when theey broke up in 2014. Although, I was happy to be on their last gig - fortunately it was in my home town Vorkuta - it's in the arctic zone of Russia, and it was a celebration of Miner's Day.

And now I'm very happy to go to concert of my favorite band again.

Lyapis Trubetskoy is a legendary Belarusian ska punk band. Because of criticism of #Lukashenka and #Putin, they were censored by governments in #Belarus and #Russia.

In 2014 the band ceased to exist, but on the next day the new brilliant band #Brutto was created by Siarhei #Mikhalok, the Lyapis Trubetskoy frontmen. A few years later he also created the electronic cyberpunk project #Drezden.

And in 2022 #LyapisTrubetskoy band reincarnated to make a tour is support of #Ukraine.
