What would it be like if converted all the into a giant cluster, supported with paid accounts.(could it lose more money that twitter now?) They could build AI filters, do KYC for verified accounts, etc, doing all the normal businessy stuff like to have in their services, including blocking all the "bad" servers and accounts they want, .

Lots more possible functionality trickling downstream. More feature competition amongst the server and client projects. More engagement.

It would be like when all the big companies started contributing code to or when had to give up trying to "own" the and just let it be the standard that most companies implemented.

I wonder what that would be like?

Although, all the folks would be like, "Shit. NOW where do I go? ;-)
