does anyone understand why Margaret Court seems to get such strong opposition for holding extremely orthodox Christian/ evangelical views?

AFAIK she has never pushed hate or incited any mistreatment to LGBT persons, just upheld Christian views, that really only apply to Christian LGBTs

She receieved an award relating to tennis and the show seems to stolen by hurtful and unfair comments relating to her beliefs
