We’re two days away from this month’s #martialtheblock demonstration and we have some exciting new updates.

First, we’re proud to announce that @ktrachal94 is 400+1’s new Orisha Land Defender! KT is a solid soldier with a real heart for her community who hopes to eventually transition from this position to membership in the federation’s L1 collective. We can’t think of anyone better to hold down our efforts to build an autonomous zone in Austin and seek #justiceforjordan.

Additionally, we’re proud to share that we’ll be hosting a reproductive revolution pop up at all future #martialtheblock demonstrations.

Reproductive Revolution is a framework that calls for the armed preservation, protection, and defense of Black reproductive autonomy. The framework builds on Reproductive Justice by emphasizing the need to eradicate transmisogynoir, heteronormativity, paternalism, and fatphobia from the lens from which we provide reproductive healthcare.
