E' FASTIDIOSISSIMO e foriero di errori mentre si scrive. Sapevatelo :-)

(a magari se qualcuno che sviluppa la UI Web riuscisse a trovare una soluzione o un comportamente meno rigido, sarebbe bello)

It needs to get easier to select the language you're posting in — and especially to remember to change it when you should!

I propose a feature to set multiple languages, and having a drop down on the Post button

Clicking the button directly sends the post in your default language, while clicking the drop down gives you options to post in your other languages. Clicking one of the options from the drop down posts in that language with no further action

To get more of a feeling of action in this place, without having to have more rage bait etc, we should really (have the option to) get a notification when someone else boosts or likes a post that you boosted.

I wish pinning hashtags in their own column in the Mastodon advanced UI would act like doing the same in TweetDeck. That is, that they're actually just a search column set to a search on that hashtag. Because then you can choose to add more hashtags to the same column, instead of having to have one for each.

Of course, if you want one for each then go for it – but it's very useful to be able to have fewer columns with more tags too, especially for people posting in smaller languages, or with more narrow interests, where people post less frequently.

Even if "quote retweet" is bad, I'd really like to have some kind of "boost with CW". Or maybe it's better to force people to convince the person they want to boost that they should CW.

#MastoFeatureRequest -- the ability to "tombstone" a message with a redirect to another message.

WHY: I recently and accidentally posted a Very Long Message that was intended as a private message. However, it was already RT'ed and liked numerous times before I realize that the post was made publicly and not privately. If I'd intended it to go public, Under normal circumstances, I'd've CWed due to its length.

HOW THIS WOULD HELP: I wish I could re-post my message with a CW, so that it was properly hidden due to its length. THEN, tombstoning the original message would (1) keep the existing likes and RTs, and (2) alter the message so that anyone viewing it would see the replacement message instead (or, at least, replace the entirety of the old message with a helpful link to the new message).
